Wall of Remembrance “Honoring The Fallen who gave their tomorrows for our todays”
The Veterans Task Force of Northwest Florida and the St. Andrews Civic Club hosted The Wall of Remembrance in Oaks By the Bay Park in Historic St. Andrews from April 24 to April 27, 2014. The wall is a memorial that is approximately 100 feet long and stands 6 foot tall. Both sides of the 103-foot wall bear the names of 11,000 individuals who lost their lives to terrorist attacks. The wall is on a 10,000-mile tour across America and its first stop in Florida was in Historic St. Andrews, having just arrived from California.
The wall was designed by United States Marine David Brown and Founder Richard Nichols in 2011 for the ten year remembrance of 9/11. Find out more at www.vision2victory.org.
