United Way offers a number of programs and services to serve the community. Among these services is the United Way 2-1-1 hotline, a free 24/7 information and referral service for Northwest Florida that provides those in need with important services such as food, housing, shelter, clothing and medication assistance among many others. One of the largest contributors to United Way in Bay County in 2015 were local Publix Supermarkets with their employee fundraising campaigns.

In 2015, United Way raised $1.6 million for local charitable organizations.

The event encouraged the community to donate to the cause, because even a small contribution can help someone in need.
