Seminole Boosters Bus Tours

Whenever there is a home game in Tallahassee, Seminole Booster Club member Tom Najjar and wife Jeaneane will charter a bus and offer seats to Bay County residents who dread the drive to Tallahassee. For the more suspenseful game days, such as the game against Notre Dame on October 18th, they hire a double decker bus that can transport up to 81 passengers. Every seat on the double decker bus was taken on game day on October 18th and not just Booster Club members are invited. Everyone who wants to escape the traffic is invited to ride on the bus, even fans of opposing teams.

“Originally, Panama City resident Marilyn Silcox offered the bus tours but that was a long time ago and she stopped after the National Championship game in Fort Lauderdale. We started offering the bus tours as a convenience and service to the fans, it’s a safe and less stressful way of going to the games. We have been organizing bus tours to the games since 1993. Oftentimes, we also go to the away- games” states Tom Najjar.

Tom will make the bus tour fun and has spent many hours putting information about the Florida State Seminoles on video tape to play on the way to the games. “We usually get there 2 1/2 hours before the kickoff and that leaves plenty of time for the riders to join one of the many tailgate parties or our own tailgate.”
