The September, 2011 issue featured the stunning wedding of Kristen and Chris Barr.

“Our wedding was one of the happiest days of our lives,” says Kristen Barr. “As lifelong residents of Bay County, it was such an honor to have our special day published and showcased to a large audience. We, along with our family, friends and colleagues, all enjoyed reliving the wonderful day when we read the magazine.”

But being featured in Panama City Living was a surprise to the young couple. Kristen remembers, “We did not know that our wedding would be featured. We found out after, that we made the cover.”

Both Chris, an attorney and Kristen, a Realtor, have been focused on their careers since the publication of the article and Kristen tells us about the most recent changes in their lives.

“Earlier this year we completed construction and moved into our new home in Panama City Beach. Chris recently started with a new firm, Bryant & Higby, Chartered, and is now working alongside Clifford Higby, Rowlett Bryant and Chris’s younger brother, Kevin Barr.”

For now, they like to enjoy their life and spend every free minute together. Their hobbies are boating, fishing, going to the beach and Shell Island, watching college football, and “most importantly, spending time with friends, family and our two pugs Marley and Sugar,” Kristen tells us. Their all-time favorite thing to do: Traveling.

With a smile, Kristen admits, “Yes, we want to start a family of our own… one day…”
