Gulf Coast State College Foundation Gala

More than 425 guests packed Edgewater Golf & Beach Resort for the Third Annual Gulf Coast State College Foundation Gala. The evening featured a fabulous concert by Rock Yacht Schooner, dinner and dancing, and hors d’oeuvres prepared by GCSC Culinary Arts students.

The evening’s greater purpose was to raise money for the Foundation scholarship program. All of the proceeds from the gala are earmarked for direct student support through the GCSC Foundation. GCSC is grateful to a community that has always been generous in supporting the Foundation’s mission of providing educational opportunities through scholarships and enhancing educational programs at the college.

Dr. Frank and Regina Merritt, Gala Program Chairs, expressed their gratitude for the community’s support: “We want to thank all of sponsors for supporting the Gulf Coast State College Foundation Gala. The event raised over $80,000, which will be going directly to fund student scholarships. It was really rewarding to see so many members of the community coming out to support our Gulf Coast students.”
