Our topics are rooted within the community but certainly keep a nation-wide readership in mind. In my quest for success stories, the “local knowledge” with inconsistent viewpoints in di erent social segments was something to reckon with. I have spent much time digging through the archives of the Bay County Library history room, going through old photographs and newspaper articles to get a better chance at objective viewpoints.

I have had the chance to meet and work with wonderful people, and there are many who have provided their support and help.
A consistent team of proofreaders, writers, and photographers has made a great di erence. I would like to thank them for their reliable work. These are also the people who inspire me with their ability to treat others with respect, see the big picture, and try their very best at an unbiased approach.
Thumbing through past magazine issues feels like time travel. Each magazine in our archives comes with its own stories and tales about the “making” process, establishing business and vendor relations, connecting with writers and photographers, sharing a vision, learning about and experiencing local aspects and opinions–all while trying to meet deadlines.
If I had to give a summary of my life in the past few years, I could boil it down to one sentence: I have made a few changes.
Looking forward to the next 30 issues,
