This May I am celebrating ve years of publishing Panama City Living. As I write this, my email “Sent Mail” folder shows I have dispatched a whopping 16,243 emails since April 2013.
It’s been a communication-intense time. 30 magazines were published with a nation-wide reach. We have subscribers in 38 states in the U.S. and internationally in Canada, the Caribbean, and Europe.
At the time, it would seem, our area only garnered national attention with scandals or catastrophes. Luckily, there was one exception; “Salvage Santa,” Mike Jones.

In 2013, as a newcomer to the area, I set out to meet the community. The magazine had been published since 2005 and, as the new owner, my rst mission was to put my ear to the ground. Truly, there was an onslaught of expectations and opinions.
There is certainly so much more to know about Northwest Florida and Panama City, the beaches, and the countryside. We reaped tremen- dous positive feedback for highlighting innovation, history, education, entrepreneurship, vision and beauty, style, and taste.
