Corks ‘N Canvases is the signature fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida in Bay County. More than $ 53,000 was raised during this event. Five-hundred eightyone children were mentored during 2013 and 2014 and 96 in Bay County. Mentoring is making a significant difference by increasing school attendance, improving grades, and encouraging more children to graduate from high school, says BBBS of NW Florida’s President and CEO, Paula Shell.
