Bud & Alley’s 30th Anniversary

Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant has marked 30 years in business on Scenic Highway 30A in Seaside.

Many turned out to celebrate with owner Dave Rauschkolb. As he addressed the crowd, Dave became emotional in thanking Robert Davis, Seaside’s founder, who ”took a chance on a couple of young surfer dudes.” Dave was speaking about himself and former business partner Scott Witkoski, who Robert believed could make Bud & Alley’s a successful venture.

Dave and Scott were instantly inspired by Robert’s vision for what Seaside would become. Dave said it has been humbling to see that vision unfold. “I’m blown away and excited,” he said.
