ALYX REYNOLDS – 2005

Alyx Reynolds first appeared on the pages of Panama City Living Magazine with a dazzling smile, a sparkle in her eye, and a shining crown atop her head. She had just been named the 2005 Miss Tallahassee Teen.

“I felt really shy about it,” Alyx says about having her picture taken and an article written about her. “Everyone was excited for me and, of course, my family was proud. They still have a copy of the magazine from 10 years ago!”

A lot has changed for the then 16-year-old. She graduated from Bay High School and Florida State University, lived in four cities including Ft. Lauderdale and Savannah, Georgia, where she currently resides, and works in the Human Resources Department for a nationwide company.

“It’s been an exciting decade. I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years will bring,” she says. In her immediate future is a wedding on Feb. 13, 2016, when she will marry her fiancé, Joshua Paisley.

Her favorite memories from her childhood in Bay County include high school football rivalries battled out at Tommy Oliver Stadium and spending time relaxing on “Truly, the world’s most beautiful beaches.”

“After multiple moves, I still call Panama City my home. I always look forward to coming back to visit family and reconnect with friends,” Alyx says.
