Bay Education Foundation Sponsor Appreciation

The Bay Education Foundation hosted a sponsor appreciation event in October for the individuals, businesses, and organizations that are supportive of the organization.

Bay County students gave musical performances throughout the evening. Sponsors and supporters could get to know the performers and their families.

One of the signature events that is organized by the Bay Education Foundation is Arts Alive in Bay, an annual gala event that features a reception, dinner, music, and theater performances by local talented students. The show cast is selected from the students and employees of Bay District Schools and includes music, dance, and drama. In previous years, a selection of 15 acts was chosen from the almost 100 who applied to audition.

Proceeds from the Arts Alive event are used to provide grants for performing and visual arts classrooms around Bay County and funds are also used to support the Foundation’s Take Stock in Children program that provides college preparation activities and scholarships to eligible students throughout the district.
