With a Grand Opening in October, the Panama City Centre for the Arts opened its doors to visitors with an exhibit of artwork that has been donated to the City of Panama City throughout the years.

The Centre will be offering a wide range of multi-disciplinary art courses to include traditional painting with acrylics, pastels, watercolor, linoleum woodblock print making, still life drawing, mixed media, natural art class, ceramics with clay-mask making and pottery wheel techniques, sculpture, fashion design and sewing, photography, digital design, leatherworking workshops, improvisational music workshops, creative writing and songwriting classes, an acting course, as well as a poetry writing class. All classes and workshops will be led by talented local artists, performers, and writers.

PCCA’s mission is to provide our community with educational experiences and quality performances, encompassing various multidisciplinary art forms to bring cultural awareness and enrichment to Bay County.

PCCA invited everyone to become a member of the organization. Member benefits include: Discounts on Classes, Programs and Competition Fees, Advance notice of exhibits, classes, and special events, and discounts on room rentals. Memberships are available for individuals or families.
