New Location: Cosmetic Vein and Laser Center
With over 5,000 square feet of office space, the new location of the Cosmetic Vein and Laser Center
offers state of the art treatment methods in a relaxing atmosphere in a beautifully designed space.
“I have just been accepted as one of 2 practices in the world to pilot the photography aspect of a newly
approved pharmaceutical study for treating spider veins. We were chosen as one of 12 centers in the
U.S. to participate in a similar study for the same drug using foam sclerotherapy for treating spider
veins and reticular veins. We are super excited about this as it took 10 years for the company to get
the drug FDA approved. We have just started using this drug Varithena to treat varicose veins as it is
another non-surgical way to treat venous insufficiency…with similar results to EVLT.” states Dr.
Kimberly Moskowitz and explains that she will also be focusing on treating necks with smartlipo for
reduction of snoring in people with sleep apnea and will also combine PRP with both PDT and Fraxel
for treatment of skin cancers, aging skin, wrinkles, and skin tightening.
There are 10 treatment rooms, an aesthetician suite in the back near the meditation room for facials,
microdermabrasion, chemical peels, body contouring.
As part of the Wellness and Meditation Center that will open soon, a separate room has been
dedicated to meditation. The room overlooks a fountain and also faces East which is the best for
meditation the traditional way.
Dr. Moskowitz has put much thought and love into the design of the new space. “The main lobby
emulates my home. With the 300 year old wood beam and chandelier and fountain for the balance of
old and new. Wood/earth, metal, water, and fire… all elements have been incorporated in the design of
the new space and the Shui lobby is my favorite …through the archway into the peaceful cool blue…”
The staff offices are located in the south wing, which includes an office for a new physician who will be
joining Dr. Moskowitz in early spring of 2015. He is a Family practice physician who also specializes in
veins and Anti-aging medicine. He was born in Argentina and trained in Indianapolis. “He and his wife
love the water and can’t wait to move to the beach.” says Dr. Moskowitz.
There is also a tea room with Bistro tables – it will be a space offered to patients or anyone seeking
peace and quiet time.
