know, you know. We still get to experience life, but with our best friend by our side for all of those special moments.” Carly explains that her parents were 21 when they married and they have been happy for the past three decades.
They had a few very exciting months. The wedding was in October, they moved into a new house in Daytona in January with their two rescue dogs and Carly also moved her two horses to a stable closeby. Set to open in May or June 2018, the Hy’s Toggery store in Daytona Beach will be much larger than the Panama City Beach store.
“We are on our own now, so that’s a bit di erent,” Carly says. “But being together all the time is easier than I thought it would be. Life has changed a lot for us. We moved into our rst house together in a whole new city just three months after getting married. As for our relationship, it just keeps getting stronger, we rely on each other a little more because it’s just the two of us.”
They say for now they are planning to enjoy each other and go on as many adventures as they can, making memories along the way.
Their advice to couples who are planning their wedding: “Take things one day at a time. It’s easy to get overwhelmed but, at the end of the day, you will always have each other.”
