THE BOARD CERTIFIED NEUROPHYSIOLOGY PHYSICIANS AT THE BRAIN AND SPINE CENTERDr. Kamel Elzawahry, FACP, FAAN received his doctorate degree from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt. After completing an internship and residency in internal medicine, he won a scholarship for training in the United Kingdom where he studied at Oxford Uni- versity, Leicester University, Edinburgh University, and the Midland Neuro Center. Following the completion of his training, he served on the sta  at University Hospital, West Indies. He began a neurology residency Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania fol- lowed by Chief Resident Internal Medicine Muhlenberg Hospital at Rutgers University, New Jersey.He began his private practice in Panama City, Florida in July 1980. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Board of Internal Medicine, and the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. He has subspecialty Board Certi cations in Vascular Neurology, Headache Medicine, Pain Medicine, and Tropical Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physi- cians and the American Academy of Neurology.Dr. Hoda Elzawahry was born and raised in Panama City and is a graduate of the Rutherford International Baccalaureate program which allowed her to attend medical school at her fa- ther’s alma mater of Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.She returned to the United States to train in Neurology at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.She is Board Certified in Neurology with subspecialty certifica- tions in, Clinical Neurophysiology, Epilepsy, and Headache Med- icine. She has a special interest in multiple sclerosis and pediatric neurology.dr. Khurram Nazir earned his doctorate degree at the Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan where he also completed his internship. Dr. Nazir was involved in clinical research at Harvard Medical Center, Boston, MA and joined North Shore University Hospital, Long Island, NY for his training in Neurology where he was elected the Chief Resident in his final year. He chose to complete an additional year of fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology.Dr. Khurram Nazir is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychi- atry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodi- agnostic Medicine and the Florida Medical Association.dr. David J. Sinclair, FAANEM was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth where he majored in Neuroscience. Dr. Sinclair trained in Internal Med- icine and Neurology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.He practiced in a partnership with his former professor for movement disorders for three years in Biloxi, Mississippi prior to returning to the University of Mississippi to complete a fellowship in Clinical Neuro- physiology.Dr. Sinclair is Board Certified in Neurology and with additional triple subspecialty Board Certifications in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophys- iology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine from the American Board of Electrodiag- nostic Medicine, and he has a special interest in Epilepsy, Headache Medicine and Neuromuscular diseases.He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Florida Medical Association, the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.His awards include the Merit Award of the Florida Medical Associ- ation, Wall of Honor Gulf Coast Medical Center, Kenneth M. Viste Patient Advocate of American Academy of Neurology, Bay Medical Center Community Service, and Gulf Coast Medical Center Doctor of the Year.He is an active member of the Florida Medical Association, Flori- da Society of Pain Medicine, Florida Society of Interventional Pain Medicine, Florida Society of Neurology, and American Academy of Neurology.Dr. Kamel Elzawahry has served as a member or chairman of the Flor- ida Medical Quality Assurance Committee, Florida Medical Associa- tion, Florida Society of Neurology, and Brain and Spine / Headache Center. He served as Chair of the Department of Medicine of Bay Medical Center and Gulf Coast Medical Center, and has served on the Board at Health South Emerald Coast Rehabilitation Hospital, and was the Chief of Sta  at Gulf Coast Medical Center.
