She is the author of "Panama City’s Historic Neighborhoods: The Cove" and "Panama City Beach: Tales from the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches" and has written for online journals, print, radio, and television. She participates in non-pro t work with local educational, historical, and environmental groups and produces multimedia presentations for schools and civic organizations. Ms. Cooper teaches swimming, enjoys running, and any other activity that keeps her in St Andrews Bay and tributaries, the Gulf, or the Atlantic.DR. DANIEL FINLEYDr. Dan Finley is an award-winning professor at Gulf Coast State College. He holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. Since moving here in 1992, he actively participates in community service and serves on the board of directors for Kaleidoscope Theatre. He is a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the Panama City Center for the Arts. He is active in the St. Andrews Episcopal Church and is the father of two. Dan enjoys walking, cooking, and ballroom dancing.ROBERT HURSTNICK MAYRobert (Bob) Hurst holds degrees in Anthropology and Archaeology from FSU and the University of London. A high school project culminated in his article "Mapping Old St. Joseph, Its Railroads and Environs," published in 1961 in the Florida Historical Quarterly. His continuing research in historic trails in North Florida will soon result in a book "The Spanish Road, Travels along Florida's Royal Road, El Camino Real."Nick May is a 20-something native Floridian who grew up writing and playing in the Panama City arts and music scene. He is the author of "Megabelt, Minutemen and Molecricket" and lives along the Gulf Coast with his wife, Kayla, and their dog, Brother. Currently, he is working on a fantasy series for kids and young adults. Find Nick online at heynickmay.comLAURA ROESCHLaura Roesch, born and raised on Florida’s east coast, earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Radford University and a law degree from Indian University School of Law. A retired judge, she is a voracious reader with a lifelong passion for books. She especially loves to hear about what others are reading. When she is not reading, she happily plays ukulele and drums with the wonderfully diverse and quirky Ukulele Orchestra of St. Andrews. She and her husband carefully tend their bucket list of adventure, and collect vintage cars and motorcycles.
