The owners of Dockside created their crab cakes after visiting various coastal cities – it is a combination and perfect composition of just the best ingredients: one-third claw meat for flavor, and two thirds lump meat for sweetness and texture, and only enough binder to hold them together. They’re lightly seasoned with Dockside’s secret spices, lemon and lime juice, and a hint of Tabasco. The dish is finished with a delicious dollop of remoulade beneath the cakes that give them an extra zip of flavor. The crab cakes come with a choice of sides, and pair well with crispy hush puppies and a view of the Marina.
